Step reflex

A small baby held up with its feet touching the floor will make trial step movements. It can’t bear its own weight yet, and it can’t move forward, but if held securely in the right position it will test the possibilities. Later, when stronger, the steps will become real steps.

As for the baby so for me. I practise – lift the foot, put it gently down. It’s not weight-bearing, it’s not getting me anywhere, but one day perhaps it will.
